Unlikely Friends
Both happy, playful, and curious, a golden named Gunner and a dolphin named Delta… have been best buddies for almost a decade.
Gunner was just an 8-week old puppy when he first met Delta at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, Florida, where his mom, Mary Blanton, is a senior trainer.
Delta was a young dolphin and attracted to Gunner’s calm demeanor. He would come to say hello, bringing toys and wanting the young pup to play with him.
